Sam’s Club buys land for 2nd Daytona Beach store

DAYTONA BEACH — Consolidated-Tomoka Land Co. announced Wednesday the sale of 18.10 acres along LPGA Boulevard to an affiliate of Sam’s Club, a membership-only retail warehouse club owned and operated by Wal-Mart.

The property, purchased for $4.5 million, is located west of the Cornerstone Office Park and north of the Tanger outlet mall now under construction. The Sam’s Club and outlet mall are both part of Consolidated’s 235-acre designated Tomoka Town Center at the southeast quadrant of Interstate 95 and LPGA Boulevard.
