You could simply call it a car show. Just as you could call the Academy Awards a prize banquet. Just days after we say goodbye to the wide range of vintage autos that visit annually for the Turkey Run hot-rod extravaganza, the focus narrows dramatically and quite extravagantly.


Originally known as the surname of an Italian race-car driver of note — Enzo Ferrari — it became an all-encompassing brand long before “brand” became so commonplace. The familiar Prancing Horse is certainly among the corporate logos that actually earned the ubiquitous “iconic” label.
