DAYTONA BEACH — Consolidated-Tomoka Land Co. officials’ vision to add restaurants, more shops and possibly hotels next to the planned outlet mall and Sam’s Club store on the east side of Interstate 95 just took a big step closer to becoming reality.
The Daytona Beach company on Wednesday announced its $5.2 million sale of a 37-acre parcel to a Canadian developer that intends to proceed with building a portion of the planned Tomoka Town Center that is already set to include the outlet mall and Sam’s Club store, which are being developed by other parties.
